Clean and Jerk Ladder

Yesterday was a (power) clean and jerk workout. Typical for a ladder, do one the first minute, two the next and so on until you can make the reps for that minute. Rx weight was 135, I used 85. Managed to pull 9 rounds +6 and my shoulder a little. Good times.

so i didnt make my goal for the half marathon. missed by six min. 1:46:21. but i am not to displeased as i had the stamina -i was pretty much on pace for around a 1:35 - 1:40 time. i went out too fast first mile was 6:18, and my 6 mile split was 45:00, still i felt really good so i kept the pace until mile ten that split was 1:18:00 then after my pace fell to over 9 min miles. i just didnt take into account that my feet wouldnt hold up - the calluses at mile ten started to feel like i was running on nails. this slowed me to crawl and droves of runners started to pass me. until that point i was within the top 50 runners. when groups of people start to pass you it is a real mind fuck too. overall placement was 109 of 450, placement for men was 87, and for my age div was 12 of 28. I am looking for another half to run, and i def want to try full marathon. i have the bug.

That is still a great time. What do you think caused the foot pain? That is something that concerns me about not running much distance before the big race, as my body may not have the opportunity to build up immunities to the repetitive use stress that LSD does provide. What was the result of the MRI?
