Running in the Heat

Weekend was great, got to see Alvin Ailey at BAM, went to the Museum for first Saturday's, went bike riding and running. No real official work out, but did do some heat training on Saturday with a 5 mile run in 95 degree weather. Sunday had some jump rope practice and shoveling, but nothing too official either. Looking forward to actually getting back to the gym today.

so i have spent the week running. I have kept the milage low and the intensity down for the most part. icing right after. I think that in a few weeks the knee will be back to normal. started hitting the weights hard again. today I ran a mile then did a 1 and 1/2 hour chest, back and abs workout followed by another mile run, then ran again later at seven another five miles. feeling good.

Sounds like you are feeling much better. Good to hear it. There was an interesting video on hill running on the crossfit main page today, might want to check it out.
